Thirty-five chemistry students have advanced to compete at the National Chemistry Olympiad qualifier

2010 – AP Chemistry student won a gold medal in the State Academic Decathlon with the highest score of the meet in chemistry

2008 Two AP Chemistry students placed in the top 100 in the nation at the National Chemistry Olympiad
